The Place for Model-A Ford Carburetors

It's tough to describe this carburetor in a few words to a novice, but here is my best shot at it. Hopefully, a couple of pictures really are worth a thousand words.

Zenith, Model A Ford Carburetor Description

Driver's Side Engine Compartment Zenith, Model A Ford Carburetor
  • The Zenith carburetor is mounted on the passenger side of Model A vehicles, clearly visible about mid section of the engine. It's a cast iron assembly, which is painted black. The top consists of a flange, which provides mounting to the intake manifold. The throttle valve arm is connected to the accelerator linkage. The fuel supply line is connected near the front, top section. A control rod from the driver's compartment connects to the Choke and the Gas Adjusting Valve.
